The short version: Use Stacked for legitimate internship and job searching. Don't abuse the service or misuse the AI features. Free plan has limits. Pro is a recurring subscription you can cancel anytime. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms.
By creating an account or using Stacked ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Stacked. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Do not share your account with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at stackedappco@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to use Stacked only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Stacked uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate resume rewrites and cover letters. You understand and agree that:
Free plan: Available to all users with limited AI feature usage per month (3 resume tailors, 2 cover letters).
Pro plan: A recurring paid subscription billed monthly ($12/mo) or annually ($79/yr). Pro unlocks unlimited AI features and full analytics.
Billing: Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time, except where required by law.
Refunds: We offer refunds within 7 days of your first payment if you are unsatisfied with the Service. After 7 days, all payments are final. Contact stackedappco@gmail.com to request a refund.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (your resume, application data, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the Service to you.
The Stacked platform, branding, design, and code are owned by us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.
Stacked is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular employer or role. Use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stacked and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities, data loss, or reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms, abuse the Service, or engage in behavior we determine to be harmful to other users or the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of serious violations.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page in the app or by contacting us.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Stacked after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
